Processing Time

• File Preparation & Appointment Booking: Approximately 7 days
• Visa Processing Time: Approximately 20 days

Processing times are estimates and may vary depending on the visa application centre and UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI).

Mandatory Documents

• Passport with a minimum validity of 7 months
• Copies of previous visas
• Recent photograph (35 × 45 mm) with a white background
• National Identity Card (NID)
• Bank solvency certificate and bank statements for the last 6 months
• Recommended minimum bank balance: BDT 1,000,000
• Financial evidence, such as property documents, FDRs and asset valuation reports
• TIN certificate and income tax returns for the last 3 years (recommended)
• Marriage certificate, if applicable
• Birth certificate for applicants under 18 years of age

For Applicants Visiting Family or Friends in the UK

• Invitation letter from the host
• Copy of the host’s passport
• UK residence permit or proof of legal residence, where applicable
• Proof of accommodation, such as tenancy documents or utility bills

Additional Documents by Profession

For Private Service Holders

• No Objection Certificate (NOC)
• Visiting card and office ID card
• Salary statement

For Business Owners

• Updated trade license
• Company letterhead and visiting card
• Memorandum of Association, Form XII and Certificate of Incorporation, where applicable
• Company bank solvency certificate and bank statements for the last 6 months
• Company TIN, income tax certificate and BIN, where applicable

For Other Applicants

• Government order for government employees
• Student ID card and NOC from the educational institution
• Updated BMDC registration for doctors
• Bar Council certificate for advocates

Important Notice

Visa fees and service charges are non-refundable. The UK authorities may request additional documents during the application process. Meeting the document requirements does not guarantee visa approval.
